State of the Union

Have you guys ever heard of a dream? Well, it's like a movie - you know like Transformers -- that plays in your head when you are sleeping. I asked Dad if he could see my dreams but I don't think he could because he just smiled at me and started tickling my belly. Any way, I had this crazy dream that I was the President of the UAW and that I was fighting for the rights of all of the downtrodden and disenfranchised American workers. Check out this picture from when I was having my dream:

I think I dreamt about running a national union because my Grampa was telling me about how he used to fight for the Police Officers when he was the secretary of the PBA (Police Benevolant Association) before he retired. He used to write all kinds of articles in the Blue Line newspaper about how the mayor was a big dummy and he even got published in a national newspaper for one of his articles. Turns out he didn't make many friends in city hall but the police officers in Buffalo sure like him!

I was trying to remember the speech I gave in my dream. It was really good! I talked about how the quality of the conditions in the factories had to improve and that the workers deserved more money, better pay and longer vacations. The guys in the auto factories thought I was pretty darn cool. I couldn't remember the whole speech but take a look, I recorded the stuff that I could remember and I think you'll begin to understand how much respect I had garnered from my short speech... Keep in mind this was my first big public speech so I was a little nervous. Sorry for all the pauses but I really wanted to make sure I was saying the right thing.

Riviting stuff huh? I've had whole bunches of dreams in the past few weeks. In one of them I was a rock star! I think I dreamt that one because my Mom likes to play AC/DC when I'm trying to fall asleep. I woke up after that dream and thought I was still on stage at Madison Square Garden. Check me out:

Then when my cousin Chris came over he told me all about this sport called wrestling! I guess these grown-ups all get into a giant play-pen in their diapers and give each other hugs and jump around on the floor and stuff. He told me that his favorite wrestler of all time was Hulk Hogan and he showed me some of the cool moves he always did, like ripping off his shirt! I could rip my shirt off. I guess you gotta have some pretty big muscles to do that. But I did have a dream that I was Hulk Hogan and I was trying to get the crowd to tell me what they wanted me to do to my opponent, The Munchies Man!

Dreams are pretty neat! And I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot more of them before too long. Maybe I'll try to keep a record of all the crazy stuff I dream about so I can share them with everyone. I mean, these are really only a few of them. I bet I've forgotten about some that were really, really cool already.

Before I get going I just wanted to let everyone know that my Aunt Sharrae had a baby girl named Julia! She's my very first cousin. I'm gonna tell her all about dreams and stuff as soon as I get a chance. I'm gonna put up a couple more pictures too so you can all see some more of the stuff I've been doing over the last few months.

This is Aunt Sharrae and Julia:

Here's one of Mom and Dad and me:

Here's one of me with my friends clicky bird and crunchy bug:

Are you ready for some football? I am check out my cool shirt!

Well, there are a whole bunch more pictures but I don't want to bore you all. Stay tuned for the next update and more crazy stories. Dad's birthday is coming up! I don't know if I'm gonna make him a gift or just scream real loud on his birthday. I'll probably do both!

See you guys next time!

It's My Birthday! ... sort of

Sorry I haven't written in a while but truth be told I really haven't had too much to write about. I've been doing a lot of sleeping and eating and pooping! Pooping is my favorite. Yesterday I pooped so loud that my dogs got scared and ran out of the room! I think Count Chocula thought some might have gotten on him because he ran outside and jumped in the swimming pool!

It's been really hot outside (and inside.) Luckily, Mom and Dad put an air conditioner in my room so it's a lot easier for me to fall asleep at night. Speaking of stuff that happens at night, I forgot to tell you all that I started taking baths! Every other day I get to have a nice soak in my bathtub. I have a special wash cloth that looks like a duck. It's really nice cause it keeps me from getting too cold and hides all my private bits too. I took a bath last night and right when I got in the water I thought it'd be a real laugh if I could shoot my pee really high into the air. It looked like one of those funny fountains you see in the movies. I was cracking up but I think Mom and Dad thought I was crying. I sure tricked them good. Here's a picture of me from when I came up with the idea to try it out:

Today I'm one month old! Can you believe it? I feel like I'm a hundred. I've seen so much new stuff in such a short time. I sure can't wait till I get my shots so I can go out and see some more stuff. Mom and Dad keep telling me that there are whole bunches of other kids out there in the world and that they're gonna be my friends someday. They keep telling me about this girl named Leah, who is my "uncle" Aaron's daughter. They think I'm really gonna like her and that maybe someday we're gonna be a boyfriend and girlfriend. I don't know what that means but it sounds like it could be fun.

Well tomorrow my cousin Chris is marring my cousin Lindsey. My Dad and "uncle" Aaron are gonna go and have a good time at the wedding while me and Mom stay home and watch TV. But Mom says that if I'm good she's gonna let me go with her to pick up Daddy and Aaron. She says that they won't be able to drive home by themselves -- something about too many bottles? Sounds like Dad gets all the luck, I wish I could drink as many bottles as I want to!

I'll be sure to check in again real soon. I'm sure there are gonna be some real funny stories coming up soon.

Bye!

More Than Meets The Eye!

Hello again! You'll never guess what?!? My Mom and Dad took me to the drive-in over the weekend. We saw Transformers 3! It's about cars from outer space that turn into robots and blow up cities and themselves. It was spectacular! It was so good that I fell asleep and peed myself. I woke up for the last ten minutes or so and let Mom and Dad know just how excited I was about all of the action at the end of the movie. I can't wait for the next time we go.

The next day was the 4th of July. We didn't really do anything. Dad kept talking about having to go to someplace called "work" the next day. I was hoping he would take Mom and me with him but the next morning he woke up early in the morning and left without us! I couldn't believe it. He didn't even come back home until after 5pm. I was sure glad to see him when he got home! Luckily, Grandma came over and spent the whole day with me while Dad was working. I suspected that Dad would be going to work the next day too so I made sure to stay up real late and spend as much time as possible with him. It's amazing how little sleep I actually need in a day!

I'm gonna keep a close eye on Dad to make sure he doesn't keep sneaking off to the work place everyday, so I gotta get going. Don't worry, I'll check back in a while and let you know what I've been up to.

See you next time!

Hello World!!

Well, I've been hanging out in this world for over a week now. I thought it was time I should start to do something. Welcome to my Lincoln's Log - my blog about my life and to keep you all updated about what is going on in my life. So far I've had a pretty steady schedule of eating, sleeping and pooping but this afternoon I went to see Niagara River for the first time. It was dope. I fell asleep and peed myself, I was so excited.

Be sure to check back often to see what I've been up to.

See you soon!
